CRW Lectures on Ends & Odds

Since CRW 2000 enables students to focus on specific tracks (poetry for some, fiction for others, memoirs for a third group, and a mixture for another group), these lectures aren't in any particular order.  Oftentimes, they will simply discuss all types of writing.

Each may have been e-mailed to current students with active e-mail addresses, but, if you missed it, click on the one(s) you want to read:

Lecture 1 -- Never Say Never (being about persistence)
Lecture 2 -- Know the Needs of Your Characters (for writers of fiction, film, TV, and stage)
Lectures 3-5 -- The Pluses and Minuses of Writing Humor
Lectures 6-7 -- The Common Man Device & "Let's Hang the Writer"
Lectures 8 -- High Tech Layout & Hogwash
Lectures 9-10 -- Humor, Satire, and Historical Events
Lectures 11
